USAWA was established in May 2002, under the leadership of DR. MUHAMMAD FAROOQ KHAN Shaheed, a well known working Psychiatrist, intellectual and religious scholar of the country. He was the founder and first Chief Executive of USAWA Pharmaceuticals. Current CEO is Dr. Rizwana Khan, wife of late Dr. Muhammad Farooq Khan Shaheed.
